The problem

FPV drones have no flat surfaces — the topology is all compound curves, chamfered edges, and tapped holes. Most auto-import pipelines produce a mesh that collapses under subdivision.

The approach

Frame modelled from scratch using published DXF cutting files and calliper measurements of a physical unit. Assembly sequence animated as a reverse-explode keyed to matching bolt sockets. Data labels keyed to the parts list.

The result

Demonstrated exploded-view capability to drone-hardware manufacturers. Directly led to an enquiry for the octocopter commission.
