Studio headphones — acoustic enclosure study
This project is a cinematic 3D product animation designed to highlight the premium design and materials of wireless headphones.
The animation focuses on elegant motion, precise details, and realistic surface finishes such as metallic gold components, soft leather cushions, and subtle micro-details that enhance realism.
Special attention was given to lighting and camera movement to create a luxury aesthetic, emphasizing form, texture, and depth while maintaining a clean and modern visual style.
The animation is crafted to add perceived value to the product, making it suitable for advertising, branding, and high-end product presentation.
The entire project was created with a product-focused approach, aiming to deliver a polished, professional result optimized for marketing
Headphones are sold on how they feel, and feel is the one thing an image can't transmit directly. The value sits in materials the eye has to infer: brushed gold on the cups, matte fabric on the ear pads, a leather headband, polished hinges. On top of that, a warm metallic product placed on a warm background loses all separation and turns into a single golden mass. The brief was a short, luxurious hero loop where each material stays distinct and the build quality reads without a single label or spec.
The headphones were modelled in Blender and shaded material by material, since the whole film depends on their contrast: anisotropic brushed metal on the cups, a soft fabric with visible fibre on the pads, grained leather on the band, and polished chrome on the hinge. Lighting is warm and directional with a caustic-lit environment behind the product, so the light itself carries the luxury register while the highlights still separate metal from cloth. The film runs as one continuous camera move — a wide establishing pass, then slow macro travel along the headband, hinge and pad edge, where the material detail lives. Finished with compositing and a warm grade in After Effects.
A 10-second loop at 2560×1440 built to run on repeat — short enough for a product page header or social, with no cut to break the loop. The macro passes read as premium at full screen, which is where a materials-led film either holds or falls apart. Self-initiated study.
